With a vision for helping the community in Minneapolis, Dana began hosting the Green Dress Gala in 2025. In 2026, the Green Dress Project was launched as a nonprofit specializing in event planning and fundraising for Twin Cities charities, nonprofits, and mutual aid organizations.
